It’s Benta Falls, also known as Benta River Falls. It’s Cozy, Serene & Tranquil!! Reviews say it’s a ‘mini Dunns River without the crowd’ and a ‘true off the beaten path experience’ in Jamaica!
Experience Jamaica’s natural wonder, explore pristine picnic trails, immerse in outdoor adventure, and savor orchards’ simple goodness.
It is one of Jamaica’s best-kept secrets. An attraction that is family-friendly and features 7 beautiful waterfalls and a breathtaking blue lagoon. Developers have environmentally and responsibly crafted Benta, preserving the region’s flora and vegetation with utmost care.
In the lush verdant outskirts of Savanna-La-Mar, Westmoreland, lies Benta River Falls, a family-owned business.
It is located just 9 miles from Negril on Jamaica’s west coast. The property features a beautiful river with seven small waterfalls flowing underneath tall bamboo trees and other tropical plants which filter out the piercing afternoon sunlight to cast a cool viridescent glow over everything.
What’s lovely about this gem is the owners’ commitment to sustainable tourism. Very little has been done to modify the grounds, and the few surrounding buildings and staircases are eco-friendly.
The river is really easy to navigate for even non-swimmers. Climbing on fallen tree trunks or holding onto conveniently placed rope is the modus operandi for crossing only two or so parts.
It is off the beaten track but well worth the effort it takes to get there!
Happy Travelling!
